Ceres House
Ceres House
Located within the rolling hills just outside Geelong, this is our largest completed project to date.
Loosely inspired by American ranch style architecture with its picture windows, gabled rooflines and far-reaching single storey floor plan, we orientated the building to take in 180 degree views while protecting the exterior living spaces from prevailing winds.
The stunning views form part of the design and its aesthetic, showcased by floor-to-ceiling windows and doors to become living 'artworks'.
Designed to accommodate a busy family of six and their extended family and friends, Ceres House consists of two perpendicular ‘wings’. One houses the living spaces and is a single room deep so its occupants can enjoy the views and northern light while the other contains the bedrooms and wet rooms, including one bathroom solely for the younger boys of the house!
Space for family and friends to gather and relax is provided by a generous terrace or external living area which stretches alongside the bedroom wing.
